Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of courses123 (operated by MB Handel). By creating an account, a school, or purchasing a course you agree to them.
The service
courses123 lets creators run their own online school (a “school”) and lets learners buy and take courses. Schools set their own prices and content; we provide the platform, payments infrastructure, and the marketplace.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to enter a contract in your country.
Schools and subscriptions
Schools choose a plan and are billed via Stripe. Plans can be upgraded or downgraded from the school’s billing settings. Fees, bandwidth limits and overage charges are shown at sign-up and in your billing page. Platform invoices are issued via inv123.lt.
Payments and refunds
Course payments are processed through Stripe Connect and paid out to the school. Refunds for courses are handled by the school under its own policy. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Content and conduct
Schools and users are responsible for the content they upload and must hold the necessary rights. We may suspend schools or remove content that is illegal, infringing, or violates these Terms.
Reviews
If you have access to a course you may leave one review for it. Reviews must be honest and respectful. Schools may hide or delete reviews of their own courses, and we may remove reviews that are abusive, defamatory, misleading or otherwise inappropriate. The author of an inappropriate review may receive a warning; after two warnings the email address is permanently blocked from the platform.
Marketing and contact data
When you register you consent to receive emails from courses123 (news, course updates and offers) and you agree that MB Handel may collect and use your contact details for this purpose, including organising them into regional contact lists. You can unsubscribe at any time. How we handle this data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
